Franklin, TN (February 12th, 2024) – Outpatient Imaging Affiliates (OIA), the leading outpatient imaging provider and partner to health systems nationwide, is thrilled to announce the appointment of two key executives to its leadership team. Andrew Kerr has officially assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), while Michelle Pickering joins the organization as the newly appointed Chief Experience Officer (CXO).

Andrew Kerr: Chief Financial Officer

Andrew Kerr has been an integral part of OIA’s senior leadership since August, initially serving as the interim CFO. As of November, he has officially taken on the role of CFO. Before joining OIA, Kerr held the position of CFO at Inception Fertility, the largest fertility services provider in North America, with revenues exceeding $500 million and operating in 14 states.

With a remarkable career spanning 25 years, Kerr has extensive experience in strategic healthcare financial leadership roles for both public and private companies. His background includes serving as CFO for various post-acute healthcare organizations with multi-site and multi-state operations, covering senior housing, home health, physical rehabilitation, and long-term acute care. Kerr’s responsibilities encompassed leadership and strategic direction for finance and accounting, revenue cycle management, information technology, purchasing, and human resources. He earned his BBA from St. Mary’s University in Texas.

OIA is confident that Kerr’s wealth of experience and strategic financial acumen will contribute significantly to the organization’s continued growth and success.

Amy Stout, President of OIA, expressed enthusiasm for the new addition to the leadership team, stating, “We are elated to welcome Andrew to the team. His extensive financial expertise and proven track record in healthcare will undoubtedly fortify our financial strategy, contributing to OIA’s continued success.”

Michelle Pickering: Chief Experience Officer

Joining OIA in the newly created role of Chief Experience Officer is Michelle Pickering. With a career spanning over three decades in sales and operations, Pickering has dedicated much of her professional life to building companies that serve the needs of patients. Prior to her role with OIA, she served as CEO at Paradigm Health and as COO of Hospice at The Cranemere Group. She earned her BA from University of California, Los Angeles.

In her role, she will establish and lead the Experience Division, aiming to enhance the focus on the varied audiences that OIA serves, including patients, referring physicians, radiologists, hospital partners, and employees. The vision involves cultivating stronger and more enduring relationships, both internally and externally, through a heightened emphasis on the overall experience. She will immediately assume oversight of the Sales, Marketing, and Recruiting teams, while building the broader function over the years to come.

OIA is thrilled to welcome Michelle Pickering to the team, as her dedication and commitment to elevating the overall experience will play a pivotal role in shaping OIA’s future.

“Michelle’s wealth of experience in building companies that prioritize patient and stakeholder experiences aligns seamlessly with our commitment to excellence,” said Stout. “Michelle’s addition reflects our dedication to fostering a team that drives innovation, growth, and exceptional care in the healthcare industry.”
