Susan Cox has over 20 years experience in healthcare financial operations, business office operations, billing reimbursement and accounting. Since joining OIA in 2002, Ms. Cox has successfully overseen the accounting, billing and business office operations start up for multiple full service imaging and P.E.T. centers.
Prior to joining OIA, Ms. Cox served as Vice President of Operational Accounting for Amedisys, a $130 million, publicly traded homecare and ambulatory surgery center company. Ms. Cox was responsible for firm wide financial operations. Ms. Cox's other experience includes senior financial and accounting positions at a number of healthcare organizations and public accounting firms including Healthsource, Horne CPA Group and Deloitte & Touche. Ms. Cox is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a BBA in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the AICPA, TSCPA, American Healthcare Radiology Administrators as well as the Radiology Business Management Associations where she actively serves on various committees.
