Janet Cheek - Vice President of Operations
With more than 21 years of diversified healthcare experience, Janet Cheek serves OIA as Vice President, Operations, and has direct corporate leadership responsibility over all of OIA's imaging centers. Janet's past experience includes an emphasis on facility operations, billing & reimbursement, sales and corporate development
Most recently with TeamHealth Radiology in Knoxville, Janet served as the Vice President of Business Development. Janet's main focus was client development for hospital and tele-radiology growth, evaluating the potential client's service needs and implementing new clients into the radiology services program. Janet's experience came from her first serving as the Vice President of Operations for the Radiology services division of the company where she had responsibility for 13 hospital contracts and the regional operations managers. Team Health is the largest physician staffing and practice management company, providing services in over 500 hospitals in the United States.
Prior to Team Health, Janet held significant positions of responsibility working for multiple organizations within the Home Health, Infusion and Durable Medical Equipment industry. Janet's prior experience included directing and managing the reimbursement departments of Biomedical Home Care in Raleigh, NC and Housecall Medical Resources in Knoxville, TN.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a minor in Business Administration from Meredith College, Raleigh, NC.
