Frank Kyle has two decades of senior management experience in the radiology services sector. In September 2000, Mr. Kyle founded Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, LLC to joint venture, develop and manage outpatient diagnostic imaging and PET centers in partnership with local health care providers.
In 1992, Mr. Kyle founded National Imaging Affiliates (NIA), a company with a strategy of acquiring and managing freestanding and hospital-based imaging centers. NIA acquired and managed a number of centers, many of which were operated as joint ventures with hospitals and radiology practices. In each center, NIA was responsible for all center management, billing and marketing functions. In 1997, NIA was acquired by HealthSouth, the nation's largest outpatient health services company, which is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
In 1982, Mr. Kyle was part of a team that founded MedInc, a company that was one of the early pioneers in the development and management of full-service, freestanding outpatient diagnostic imaging centers. MedInc opened its initial center in Nashville in 1982 and proceeded to build and operate a network of 17 centers with in excess of $50 million in consolidated revenue. In 1986, Mr. Kyle was promoted from chief financial officer to president and chief executive officer, and served in that capacity until 1991. In 1989, Mr. Kyle spearheaded the organization of the American Imaging Association, a trade group composed of 175 imaging centers. Kyle served as the first president of the AIA and as a director from 1989-1991.
Mr. Kyle currently serves as a Director of Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, Urology Healthcare Group, a company specializing in the management of urology practices and related ancillary services and The Bank of Nashville. Mr. Kyle is also a principal in B I Holdings, Inc., a company that develops, owns and operates medical office properties.
